How many words do you have?

I worry about how my kid is doing.

She knows more signs than she does words but she knows 30+ words

I have not been counting but I know he can tell me most of what he wants verbally sentences are still kinda babbly but we still understand

Mine says mama, uh oh, yes (uh huh!), no (uh huh, but lower). But he signs 7 words. A speech therapist was recommended building the diaphragm muscles by having him blow bubbles and drinking through twisty straws. Does your child ever yell or squeal loud enough that you have the urge to cover your ears? Mine doesn’t. He’s always been quiet. Even when he plays and or throws a tantrum, his voice never gets loud like most other toddlers.

We're a bilingual family in teaching sissy to her first. She is hardly talking she'll say  mama, here, more, nana (banana) but mostly babbles trying to talk still.

I was so worried about word count about a month ago and as soon as I started keeping count my little guts vocab blew up!!! He signs too because I do a lot but so many words and putting them together in sentences

As of yesterday we are at 299 words that he uses consistently and independently.
He also counts numbers 1-15 but I don’t count them as words since he has no idea what they mean, he’s just saying them.
