blepheritis on eye??

for a couple months now my left eye has been getting red and swollen to where my eyelid kind of sticks when i look up and then goes back to a normal looking eyelid. i’ll wake up with it looking swollen/sticking and sometimes it gets better throughout the day. it also gets dry and kind of itchy. I have an appointment with a doctor next week to get it checked but is there anything I can do in the meantime to help?? I’ve been doing heat compresses and sometimes cold (because I don’t know which one helps more) and keeping aquaphor on it to keep it moisturized. I have a birthmark on the left side of my forehead that goes on the same eyelid too so i’m already super insecure about it, but now a lot of people are pointing it out. any help?? the third picture i included was the most swollen it’s ever gotten and it randomly happened.
