Can a uti be dangerous

I'm not sure if I do have one but I felt really under the weather last night and then this morning I've work up with pain along my lower abdomen still feeling a little Ill like I have flu but I dont want to go to hospital in case it's nothing to worry about and its Saturday so cant go to my doctors. I'm 7 weeks?
