I'm a women late twenties. My comfort level is chill. I don't like dressing up, There's all these event's and I am a more relaxed person casual dress.

Okay there is this woman she is very wealthy invited me over for her kids bday party and I was just going to wear blue jeans and a nice blouse. My friend said nooo that my other friend she owns a million dollar house that I should dress better go buy a dress, shoes and do my hair all for a bday party? I thought children bday party's are casual.

Do you guys dress up for every event? Do you think women should put more effort into how they look? Most men just shower, shave good to go put on a shirt w jeans or shorts no problem.
