Pregnant while not ovulating??

Hello ladies!!! I am freaking out and hopefully someone can give me some insight! I had unprotected sex on the 11th (6 days after my ovulation.) I’ve heard many stories of how you can and cannot get pregnant when you’re NOT ovulating. Is it true you can get pregnant anytime during your menstrual cycle? Or is that just a myth? I’m ONLY 3 days late but I’m very regular I’m never late I do have cramps like if my period was coming.

Take a test before assuming you’re pregnant. 
Also, how do you know when you ovulated? Are you testing and using symptoms? Or just the app?

How are you tracking ovulation? If you’re just going off this app you honestly have no idea when you ovulated, the app is just a guess. You absolutely could have ovulated later than it predicted and gotten pregnant.

U have to be ovulating to get pregnant. However, everyone’s cycle is different & unless ur diligently tracking ovulation by using ovulation tests and/or checking/tracking ur basal body temperature, then u have no way of really knowing if/when ur ovulating or close to it. The app is simply an estimate & isn’t always accurate. Plus, when u do ovulate, the egg is viable for up to 12-36 hours, and sperm can live inside of u for up to 5 days. So, if u have sex within 5 days of ovulating, or even the day after, pregnancy is possible. This all why a lot of us say that pregnancy is possible anytime.
