Prenatal pumping

Has anyone tried to pump (by hand) prenatal? I started yesterday (tomorrow I'll be 38 wks) and having some colostrum already YAY 😁👍🏻.

But what I am really curious about, does this really help to start labour? Or at least help it start a tiny bit sooner? My kids ar 42-weekers and both eventually induced (1 vaginal delivery and 1 emergcy c-section. Not because of the term fyi but because the umbilical cord came out).

I hope this could help so bad! Does anyone has experience? Love to hear from you! P.s. I also don't feel anything contracting during pumping 🤷🏼‍♀️ I guesss my body is just weird and wants to keep the baby in.. 🤦🏼‍♀️
