sex problems

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over two years. We go on dates, watch movies, etc. I also have the implant and i’ve had it over two years and my periods (tmi) usually tend to last 2 weeks or up to a month. (end tmi) so i’ve been really tired and kinda depressed lately to the point where we didn’t have sex for over a month. Recently we did and he said we need to do it more often, we planned to do it the other day again and he had to do a rain check so I asked him if we could do it tonight and he said yeah. I come home from work today and ask him and he said no. I understand and i’m not going to guilt him but it also kinda makes me feel unwanted. I need advice or just kind words.
