Couple question

Okay the guy I’m talking/dating for almost a year has a picture of his ex on Instagram. I’ve asked him to take it down, he says he will. My birthday is in a few days. Im giving him til my birthday to have it deleted or I’ll tell him whatever we got going on is over and to go be with her since he’s having a hard time deleting, cause I shouldn’t have to keep asking him to do that if he’s talking to me. Am I going over board cause he’s with me but has a picture of her on his Instagram? This pic he posted is very recent. I feel like it’s a little disrespectful if he’s at my home. I’m not controlling. But how can he wants to be with me and the captain is “the best woman” under his ex pic. So am I’m going overboard by asking him to take it down or go be with her then?
