Could this be strep? Or something else?

Her throat hurt more yesterday am when there was no sores. First pic last night, still sore but not as bad, and 2nd pic now, still kinda sore. Doc is booked for days. Just wondering if we should head to urgent care vs going to school.
Edit: no tonsils and nothing on roof of mouth, seems to be centered around uvula, no fever, only stuffed up

Just looks sore to me, with strep there is usually white pustules

It could be the beginning of it. Usually you’ll see white spots in your throat with strep so keep an eye on it. Right now it looks like a sore throat. 
Honey, lemon, and tea is a great sore throat remedy

If you have no cold symptoms, it could be strep. If you have fever, definitely be seen. It usually clears on its own, but if not, you could even try cvs minute clinic, they do strep tests
