Bloody show then labour?
I'm 40+2 weeks with my second baby.
I had a sweep yesterday and was 2/3cm dilated and my cervix is 1cm long.
Today at around 2:30pm I went to the toilet and when I wiped there was a huge string of mucus which was dark red. I've had 2 more bits come out like that since then.
Is this my bloody show and how far away could labour be?
I didn't have a bloody show with my first and she was a very fast birth at 39 weeks.
