Sudden vision loss ? Anyone else ?

I’m 38w 2d and my c section is scheduled for thr 5th, however today I suddenly can’t see, or not very well at least. I was totally fine all morning playing with my toddler and suddenly I have tunnel vision and I’m
Seeing stars. I know this is a sign of pre eclampsia and I’ve paged my midwife, I’m waiting for my husband to get home to go get my bp checked but my midwife didn’t seem too concerned. Anyone else ever experience this ?

This has happened to me twice in the last two weeks, it does go away for me but took a bit. I took my bp at home and it was perfectly fine. I have an appointment tomorrow and I plan to bring it up then.

Yes I did! Before I was induced - due to pre eclampsia. Try to relax and good luck!

This is definitely something to reach out about since it can be a sign of pre-e, but with that being said, it sort of sounds like an ocular migraine to me. I get them periodically. I just had one a couple of days ago actually where I could see everything but my center of vision. So, it’s worth looking into, but not necessarily too concerning either.

I’ve had worsening eyesight since the second trimester and it’s totally normal! Due to extra fluids and stuff it can effect eyesight and it should return to normal after having the baby is what I’ve been told
