False positive on easy @ home pregnancy tests

I had a chemical pregnancy at the start of this month, I ovulated as normal if not a little earlier and now af is due in 2 days, I’m currently 12 dpo. I promised myself I wouldn’t test early but I caved and just took an easy @ home pregnancy test using my smu and the strongest second line appeared. I’m absolutely gobsmacked but I’m so scared to get excited Incase i end up having a chemical pregnancy again.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced false positives with easy @ home before??
