Group B Strep (GBS) “cure”?

I tested GBS positive and My midwife said I could retake the GBS test but didn’t have much recommendation for curing it. She said a probiotic could help. Does anyone have remedies to help GBS go away for my next test?

The only thing I'm aware of is treatment prior to giving birth. So many hours before pushing they give you antibiotics. This also helps keep you from spreading it to baby.

You can research inserting garlic vaginally at night for a few nights. You can make a garlic "tampon" and insert nightly with clean fingers and remove in the morning. My doula recommend and had never had a mother test positive who followed the protocol. Some women do find the garlic caustic on the sensitive skin. In which case I would imagine taking it orally could be another option.

I actually had gbs strep b .. there’s no remedies to get rid of it … right before you deliver your dr will admit you to the hospital a day before and give you antibiotics before you give birth to baby. Because without antibiotics it will keep coming back

Probiotic inserted vaginally every other day  and taken orally is what I was told.
