Should I get more then one potty to start potty training?

Should I be getting one for the living room and one for the bathroom. Our home is 1000 square ft. Or is one potty enough?

We have a stool in each bathroom for him to use the regular toilet. He has a ladder with a toddler seat attached but he prefers not use it. I’m not having a potty sit in my living room or cleaning one all the time. In my opinion, I’d you have to shoot them on the potty in front of the TV for an extended period, they aren’t ready for potty training.

Our house is almost 3000 sq feet with three baths so we put one in each bathroom. So which ever one he went it it was ready to go. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just had one potty which was in the living room. For upstairs, I bought a training seat snd stool so LO had the opportunity to use both. That's worked really well for us snd now he's trained, we don't have to reteach him to go in the regular toilet instead of the potty.

No. Just teach them to use the bathroom. Why ad extra steps to the process? We skipped the toddler training toilet entirely and taught our son to use the regular sized toilet with a toddler seat. We don’t have space for a toddler one, I don’t have time to clean another toilet, and this way we didn’t have to train him twice (once on the toddler and once on the regular).
