Accidentally hit my bf hard

Today is my boyfriend birthday. I spent the morning with him and went to work. I got out of work and he was suppose to pick me up from work. Whole day didn’t confirm w me because he was drinking w his friends. I called him and he said he would pick me up when I got to my train stop. Said he was heading here. 30 mins passed by I’m sitting in the cold waiting for him. Turns out he’s still at the bar. Told me to get an Uber and he would pay for it. I agreed I would go w the condition he drives me back home

I got there and everything was all good. Then he spoke w his family at the bar and he made a comment telling his little brother (he’s in another country) you get girls just like your big bro (him) and that comment got me mad.

Fast forward we are at the restaurant and he stops a waitress and says “ you’re my girlfriend right?” To her. That comment felt so disrespectful I got so mad. I couldn’t control myself and I slapped him behind the head for saying something so dumb. It sounded and his friends laughed at him. I didn’t mean for it to come out that hard or loud it was suppose to be a light slap behind the head. He told me to leave he didn’t want me there. He said “you’re so lucky I love you otherwise I would have swung at you. Idc if police gets called and you press charges if you try me again I will knock you the fuck out” he said something else trying to say he use to hit his babymother

I kept apologizing nonstop telling him I didn’t mean for it to sound that hard but he kept on telling me things…

He’s always joking around how he has bitches and always saying. Stuff like this in front of me. I got so mad

I understand why he’s mad but he shouldn’t be disrespectful
