Sore breast, clogged duct?

Question

So I am breast feeding and only pumping twice a day to get enough to cover one night feeding. My left breast has gotten so sore today. It's also red under the areola and tender. Could I have clogged ducts? Just seemed to happen today. I've continued to pump and breast feed alternating which side I feed from. Any other suggestions for what this may be or how to make it feel better?

First off, usually with a clogged duct you will feel a hard lump or spot on your breast from the backed up milk. It can be sore and tender to the touch. Mastitis is worse you'll have a red patch on the breast and it could be warm to the touch you could also have flu like symptoms. Both are zero fun. I have an over supply so I get them almost weekly. Take a warm shower before nursing. It helps and feels good. Massage your breast while nursing and pumping. All this helps things flow. Make sure to not wear things that constrict the breast. I honestly believe underwire is the devil. Other than that i use a cold cabbage leaf when it gets really sore, but you have to be careful because it can cause your supply to dry up.
