Anyone else’s employer treating them like shit for being pregnant?
I work in healthcare and I have a doctors note saying what my physical restrictions are. My boss got pissed off that I brought it in (only did bc she told me I had to put away 50+ heavy boxes of inventory every week at 30+ weeks pregnant). Now I feel like she’s finding every little thing to pick at me for, she’s being super passive aggressive, she’s treating me completely different like I am just a major inconvenience on the clinic because I’m pregnant. I’m 34 weeks pregnant, there are plenty of able bodied coworkers who could pick up the slack while I’m unable to do certain things yet they don’t want to and my boss just gets pissed when I say I can’t do something. It’s literally making these last few weeks miserable and It’s hurting my mental health so bad. I’ve given 5 years to this place and have NEVER not done my job until I became physically unable to. I’ve always picked up shifts for my coworkers, taken on extra work and I feel like I’ve been a good employee and I deserve to be treated with respect just like everyone else. 😭
