TOLAC?

I’m having a hard time deciding on a repeat cesarean or a vaginal birth for our second. My Ob feels uncomfortable doing a TOLAC since we are in a small town with older technology. She said she is willing, but would prefer the csection for her staff and because of risk of a uterine rupture. We are at 33 weeks tomorrow and needing a decision by the next appointment. It’s been 3 years since the cesarean of time on the scar matters.

What was the original reason you had a csextion? 
I went with a repeat planned csections are a breeze in comparison to emergency csections.

Risk of rupture is 0.06%. Theres a 99.9.4% chance that you WONT rupture and even if you do the chances of it being catastrophic are even smaller than that. I had my csection 09/27/19 and my vbac 05/24/21. My next baby (whenever they will be) will be vbac also

The actual risk of rupture is minimal. 
What was the reason for your original c-section?

I had a planned C-section for my first because he was breech. I’m hoping for a VBAC this pregnancy, but am open to things changing over the course of the pregnancy (still only 14 weeks). However, I live in an area with moderate to high medical resources, so that part is less of a concern for me.
I agree with the other posters that the risk of uterine rupture is low, but I truly worry about the available medical resources in your area in an emergency, both for you and for baby. This is obviously just my opinion, but I personally would more strongly consider a repeat C-section if I were in your shoes.
