Marginal cord?

Has anyone here dealt with a marginal cord?  If you had a c-section what week did they schedule you? Was your child behind in growth? This is my rainbow baby I’m frightening myself with google

Don’t Google. I terrified myself by googling. Baby girl measured right along her own growth curve in utero. She arrived after her due date. And she was fine. We monitoring with weekly ultrasounds at the end and all was well. I had a natural delivery. And we even did extended wait to cut the cord. Then I delivered the placenta on my own without any complications. I just made sure everyone know (nurse and doc on call) about the cord insertion.

My daughter had a velamentous cord insertion, which is more extreme than marginal, and the ultrasound tech never caught it so we had no extra monitoring.I went into spontaneous labor at 39 weeks(just like I had with my 1st birth), and had an uncomplicated vaginal delivery. She was small(5 lbs 15oz) but fine otherwise.
My friend's last 2 pregnancies had eccentric insertions (between marginal and velamentous) and one was induced at 39 weeks and was like 8.5 lbs, the other came spontaneously at 38 weeks at 6 lbs 15oz.
