2 Middle Names?

My husband and I have decided 100% on the first and middle name for our baby boy but we are disagreeing on whether or not to give him a second middle name. Baby’s first name will be a family name for my husband and middle name is just a name we are both in love with. I want to give baby a second middle name that is a family name from my side and my husband thinks it will cause too many unnecessary complications in baby’s life when it comes to official forms like birth certificate, ssn, driver’s license, passport, etc. Does anyone have experience with giving their child a second middle name and is able to speaks to the pros/cons of this? I’m really torn because what if we never have another boy to use this other middle name for…. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I and my brother and both of my kids all have 2 middle names and it’s actually great.

I have not done it but if baby was a boy then he was going to have 2 middle names, both are family names. He would only have 2 middle names only because we didnt think it sounded as good with one middle name.

I have two middle names, I haven’t had any trouble with it and I love having two. My children will have two as well. I grew up imagining what my children would be named and it never crossed my mind they would only have one, it’s just normal to me. My partner has a long last name so we will all have a long last name as well. 
How often do you need to write your full name down anyway? 😊

I have two middle names and have never had any issues! It’s fun to be a little unique :)

We have 10 kiddos. All but one girl. Naming for us has been all about the meaning. 2 of our middle girls have 2 middle names. So far not a issue. They will be able to choose how to use them later on too. They ended up that way because the names mean to much to leave off.
 Abbigail Elizabeth virtue ( family name from my moms side ) and Sarah Barbara faith (family name from husbands side) haven’t regretted it once. :)

Depends on what the names are. All long/complicated, then it might be too much. Especially if the last name is long as well. 
Does his family first name and you family middle name not flow? I can totally get you wanting to pass down a name from your side. That already get the last name after all.
