Progesterone in pregnancy any advice ?

Just got done with 20 week appointment doctor told me I have a short cervix I was prescribed vaginally progesterone 200 mg . According to doctor cervix is 23 not far off of how it should be right now at this stage. I have to take this medication until 36 weeks. Where you able to give birth naturally ( no c-sections) ? Has anyone experienced this in previous pregnancies? What was your experience? This is my first baby, I’m scared and worried about what happens next. 😖
