Tonsil stones??

Ok so this is freaking me out! I found a tonsil stone for the very first time! 
I'm wondering if having oral sex had anything to do with it? 
Why do tonsil stones even happen? Someone please help!

It’s just where food particles and bacteria get into your tonsils. I’m convinced anyone that has their tonsils have them wether they know it or not. I’m also 95% oral has nothing to do with it. 
But looks like you had a nice size one. 👏 If you’re concerned gargling salt water every night or every other night can help supposedly.

It has to do with the shape of your tonsils.
Your tonsils have tiny little holes in them that can get food stuck in them and then it calcifies. It has nothing to do with oral. 
My husband has them and he used to get them out with salt water rinses, poking them out with a oral tool (I don't recommend this but it bugged him so bad so he did it anyways) lol. If it bothers you a lot, you can get your tonsils taken out.. but it's a miserable recovery. 😅
