Do these colors go ok or nah ?

I bought grey cabinets to install into my kitchen and I also bought this color for the wall. My kitchen and living room are all in one big room so I thought this color from Sherwin Williams would be kind of cozy and add warmth without being too dark. But then now I’m realizing I should have considered what the color of the cabinets are and if it looks good. I think they will look alright together but just need a second opinion! I don’t like plain white walls so need some kind of color on there.

I dont like it. It looks like you tried to match them but didn't bring a sample of the other color so you guessed....

It’s going to look washed out, and dated. If you want bright and cozy, a very nice super light and mellow blue would look great as paint.

From these samples I feel like they colors are too similar and it will look awkward, I would do more of a contrast.

Do a test patch and live with it for a few days. Look at it in different light through the day and night.

I would go for a light green or blue.. something with gray undertones

It could work- I would put some paint on the wall and sit a cabinet with it to see if you like it- they are almost the same color to me so it could go either way

White cabinets would have looked pretty with that color or if you like color a green would look pretty with that

Update: I went with Agreeable Grey which is a grey with some beige tones in it. It works super lovely with the cabinet color. Thanks so much for your input. I’m glad I changed the color!

i think white walls are okay with that, but i’m also not mad at the match lol
