I am 13 weeks today. I had a vaginal swab Tuesday of this week, then had intercourse the same night. Saturday morning I woke up to some brown discharge. I figured it was from this weeks precious activities. Come Sunday morning the discharge was pink/red. None the rest of the day until late that evening. Note: I do currently have a yeast infection. Saturday night I took my first dose of monistat 7, read that sometimes the bleeding can be caused from more irritation form the medicine? Dr doesn’t seem worried. Talked to them today after having no blood/spotting all day. Said to hold off on the monistat for a few days, wash with cool water and no soap for a few days. This evening, after the office is closed of course, I go to the bathroom and more pinkish discharge shows up. I’m not sure if it’s the yeast infection itself causing the irritation/spotting, the side effects of the monistat still lingering, or something worse is beginning. Just wondering if anybody has had anything like this happen. 🥺🥺
