Got peak LH but didn’t have EWCM until 24 hours later?

So I got my peak LH the evening of the 9th but I had no EWCM at all up to that point. Then all of a sudden it started showing up last night (the 10th) and I still have it now. Really confused because in theory I would have already ovulated right? It’s now been over 48 hours since my peak and I just had EWCM when I wiped. We tried yesterday morning( while I didn’t have EWCM I was cramping, which I’m pretty sure were ovulation cramps) and late last night after I saw that I had EWCM so I’m just hoping our timing is right.. Any thoughts?? Haha I’m just confused rn
