PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND THIS!!😭

Long story but recently I met this guy who was recently engaged to his ex of “6 years on and off and living together “ when we started seeing each other they just recently broken up and he moved back to his parents house.. he came over like every for 2 months. He live bout 26 minutes from me and work early in the morning.So basically he will come after work stay the night wake up early in the morning go home get ready for work come back after.I really liked that he was making effort to see me😍We went on dates, paid my rent just doing what a husband would do pretty much,💕

So I pretty much fell in love with him. He even said “ I love you” first…. recently he started ghosting me ignoring my phone calls.. we stopped talking for about a week and then we finally talked he told me that he needs time to focus on himself

After two months of us being together almost every day. I understand that fuck that moved on so quick especially after he was engaged. Should I wait for him until he figure out him self self or should I just move on. Is been a week now.🥲
