Cat keeps hiding under the bed.

So my bfs cat 🐈‍⬛. Gus.

He keep hiding under our bed, and I’m just trying to figure out how to prevent this from happening. He came from a farm so I figured maybe it had something to do with that?. Dark place to hide under the bed and all?.

The thing is that he loves all on me, and rubs against my legs and stuff. He also follows me everywhere so its not like hes scared of me. He has plenty of cat towers so he can climb and hide. But I’m not all too sure how i can prevent this from happening. The main reason why it bothers me is just because the little guy tracks litter everywhere, and tears up the furniture. Again not his fault. I love him very much. Im just really inexperienced with this.
