Vacation/Guys Trip. Who’s in the right?

Question

So my husband recently asked me if he could go to a bachelor party for some guy he doesn’t even know (friend of a friend) in New Orleans next year (he has to take a plan to get there) 
We were planning a trip to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and our sons first birthday that same month. My husband then told me that we couldnt go on any vacations until we get our first investment property cause he wants to save money. I was bummed but I understood… fast forward to this bachelor party ???? Like what??? I thought we couldn’t go on vacations. Apparently it’s only okay if he wants to do it and now him and his friends think im the worst wife ever because I told him I don’t want him to go.
I don’t wanna be a shitty wife but I hardly think that it’s fair for him to go on vacation when we don’t have the money to celebrate our anniversary or our sons birthday.

Did you explain to him what you're telling us now? If he needs some time with his friends maybe suggest a local day trip to him instead, or a bar night with his buddies. 
But I don't think it's OK for him to go to a Bachelor party for someone he doesn't know when you guys already had tentative plans pending finances.

I don’t do double standards. He’s welcome to go if we can plan other trips as well. I would be especially unimpressed that he wants to spend money on someone he doesn’t even know instead of his own family 🤨

Uhm no I’d explain to him how I feel and that it’s important to me to have a vacation together. So if he wants to go we’re all going, period. If he wants to spend the money than why not all of you guys go, he’s being selfish. Sorry not sorry but that’s how I feel regardless.

I'd let my husband go on his vacation and I'd go on my own vacation with my kids. There would probably also be divorce papers waiting at home for him 🤷‍♀️ family is 10000% priority for me and honestly I don't think I could be with someone that didn't feel the same
