Big baby?

Hi ladies, 
When it came to my first born (girl), she was born 7lbs 9oz & all throughout the pregnancy I never had an issue or anything with hearing I was “measuring big” but now with my second I’ve been to two of my ultrasounds (I am 24 weeks today) & I’ve been told how “big” he is looking. They say 90th percentile. They are somewhat worrying me since I’m still not close to my due date. They want me to come back at 32 weeks to see if he’s still progressing at the rate he is now. On the other hand, my OB is saying, “don’t listen to that right now. You’re not gonna have a baby over 8lbs.” I’m just getting worried that my child is growing too fast & it’s gonna end up complicated towards the end. I guess just asking thoughts & suggestions. Thank you.

I wouldn't stress it, my babies were 8.14oz and 9lb 3oz and we're still able to pushed out, same with other I know who have had even larger babies that were born vaginally..
It could be a bigger yes, but that doesn't really mean anything? I find they really push women to get cesarean that are not necessary. 
 They also measure head size and some babies just have big heads! But not all ultrasounds are accurate.

I was told my 4yr old would be over 10lbs he was born 8#3oz.

I was told my 9 month old would be over 9lb he was 6.6 they have got all my kids weights wrong am 30 weeks with my fourth now they have said he’s measuring a bit little but nothing to worry about it’s an estimate I wouldn’t worry to much ❤️❤️💙💙

Even if the baby continued to grow at the same rate he would still be 90%. For example, my (earth side) son is in the 75% percentile like at birth even though he is significantly bigger. It goes by age, or for you gestational age.

My first born was always measuring 3-4 weeks ahead my entire pregnancy. Everyone said I’m probably gonna have a 9.5lb baby if not bigger. He was born at 41 weeks, 8lbs even. Not a giant newborn by any means.

Every pregnancy I have stressed that baby was going to be big. Idk how much it affected baby's size.... but my coping mechanism was to avoid spiking my blood sugar during my third trimester. It felt like something I could control. So no sweets or high carb meals for me the last 3 months. My largest baby was 7lbs 15 oz and baby #3 was my smallest at 7lbs 6oz.
