Experience with doctor turning baby?

Question

My ob mentioned that if baby doesn’t turn head down on her own they’ll try to move her themselves, I’m just curious what this feels like/the process of it.

My OB said she wouldn’t do it for me because the cord was wrapped around baby’s neck. But she said if we could do it, it would be done in hospital while or before inducing because it is incredibly painful and can cause labor anyway. It didn’t sound like something I would have wanted.

No. Don't do it. It's incredibly painful

It was awful and the worst pain of my life. Recovering from my csection due to breech wad easier than having the ECV done. Never again

You can decline if you want. I wasn’t a candidate for it because I have a blood clotting disorder and the procedure had quite a few risks. I had a c-section.
