Taking him back after cheating

I know many of you don’t agree with getting back with someone after they’ve cheated, but I love him and he has a lot of great qualities. But I want to know how to know he’s sincere in his apology?

If there are any women out there who’ve gotten back with their SO after he cheated, what did he do that made you take him back?

Edit: I appreciate those who are trying to advise me against it, but this is not about advising me to not take him back. I know there are success stories of couples who got through it, and that’s what I’m looking to hear from.
