Hey mamas! What did your contractions feel like?
Hey glow mamas! I have a quick question for you guys. (please don’t just tell me to “call my ob”. I just went to the doctor two days ago and she told me to simply ignore any pains I was having until they were too painful to talk or breathe through, then to go to the hospital but I’m not satisfied with that 😂😂😂😂) I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant with my second child but I was induced with my first so I didn’t have the whole natural going into labor experience and now I don’t know what to expect.
So for two days now, I have had this pain right in the front of my baby bump. It’s almost like a burning type pain (not like heartburn though lol) It comes and goes and is sometimes accompanied by some sharp twinging in my cervix. My OB simply dismissed it as probably being some muscle pain associated with diastasis recti. But it doesn’t really feel like muscle pain to me and it is not made worse by movement nor is it tender to the touch. At my last appointment, I was 3 cm dilated and a little bit effaced. Anyways, today I am still having the pain and I am losing my mucous plug in large pieces. Usually right after those pains in my cervix, some of the plug will come out. I am not having any pains in my back or lower abdomen, so I don’t know if I’m having contractions or what it is. I would absolutely love if some of you beautiful mamas could tell me how your labor experience was/ where and how your labor pains felt. Also if any of you have had a similar pain in the front of your bump or have lost your mucus plug at 36 weeks, I’d love to hear about it! Thank you all so much! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
