helppp w MIL

so my husband and i have already decided on a name, everyone loves it and thinks it’s great except for his mom. when we first told her what we chose for a name, she said she hates it and we are not using it to which my babies father said well it took us long enough to decide on one together and that’s what we were going with as it was OUR child.

She still asks me everyday if we came up with a name better yet, and i say no hubby likes “name” so that’s what we’re doing and she says well he doesn’t have a say as the mom its your choice and i say well i also like “name” but she still won’t give and very disrespectfully honestly says we’re not naming him that.

what do i do without being a total bitch to her? it obviously doesn’t matter what he says to her because she thinks it’s my job to name the kids 🤦🏼‍♀️
