will i be accepted ?

i want to apply for the buybuy baby credit card but im scared I’ll be rejected … i have 3 other credit cards … ones paid off the other i owe 101$ & the last one i owe 800$ but i have never missed a payment and I always give more then my minimum … my credit is 698 because i made the dumb mistake of letting a car dealership run my credit which used to be 740 .. what are the odds buybuybaby will approve me?

If you already have 3 other credit cards I’d look at sorting them first before getting another.

The car dealership running your credit didn’t lower it. As far as if they will approve you, nobody can answer that for sure.

Opening another line will lower your score a lot more and usually the discount they offer on your first purchase isn’t more than the interest the card accrues over time! Store credit cards are usually pretty crappy. If you don’t have the money right now I would just use one of your existing cards or split up the payments with afterpay or shoppay or similar services if they offer it.

BuyBuy Baby accepts PayPal and I’d opt to go for their CC or pay in 4 option first
I use PayPal for a lot, no interest on every purchase over $99. A store brand card will offer you an initial discount off first purchase but pretty useless otherwise.

Car dealership sucks esp if it’s a salesperson who can’t take NO for an answer. My bf was just looking at cars and test driving them. We didn’t even plan on getting one. The sales person was just being too pushy and we said we’ll think about it but he STILL RAN HIS CREDIT and then all of a sudden we get something in the mail about it and we noticed his credit score dropped like crazy. But, it’s ok bc now he’s almost at 800. But I’m sure you’ll be fine because from what I’ve seen you need at least a 640 credit to be approved.
