Frustrated

So I'm currently 16 days late all test are negative had blood test done yesterday to see if I'm pregnant. Hoping I am but I have a feeling it will be negative. Doctor said if I don't start by the end of the month to come back for another blood test and go from there. Anybody else have this problem. Idk what's going on my periods have been late but never this late I'm normally getting off of it by now tired of thinking I'm pregnant when I'm late but then I get my hopes up 😔 so annoying
