Help! 36 weeks and leaking?!

Question

I went in yesterday to OB triage because I lost a big gush of clear fluid. They did an ultrasound and confirmed I did lose a lot of fluid, AFI went from 14 to 7 in just a few days. They sent me home and said if I lost any more to come back in but otherwise I have an appt tomorrow with doctor at the office. Does this look like something I need to be concerned about? It’s clear but has white bits in it.  Today’s pic on top, yesterday’s on bottom

I think you have a leak, which means baby is probably on the way! Definitely call your doc, but they’ll probably send you straight to L&D to get you hooked up and start an induction. If I were you, I would take a few hours, hop in a warm shower, grab a big meal (it may be your last for a while!) and go for a long walk somewhere. Maybe do a couple yoga ball sessions to see if you can get your contractions started on your own. Happy baby day!!

I want to be overly concerned but since they confirmed that you’re losing fluid there is some concern that baby won’t have enough and they may want to induce you before you have no fluid left or closely monitor you. Especially if it’s continual week and it keeps coming I mean that is your water breaking hopefully your OB/GYN can figure this out for you but my best guess is that theyll want to induce you to keep baby safe￼￼
