If you’re talking to a guy and he wants you to respond immediately over the phone or gets upset if you leave him on read is that a red flag they may be abusive?

I think it depends more on his reaction than the action. I feel like people throw the word abusive around too easily sometimes. I’d be super annoyed if someone left me on read (essentially ignored me) often. Here and there no biggie, but if it’s a habit and I address how it makes me feel in the relationship, that shouldn’t be deemed as abusive. same thing if someone doesn’t text me back immediately. Again, depends 100% on the situation and the reaction. If I’m waiting for someone to answer a question or give me some info I’m waiting on, yeah. I’m gonna be annoyed if they don’t answer in an appropriate time frame.
