If I’m breastfeeding will it cause pregnancy test to be positive later. My period is 3 days late and still negative. I got pregnant a few months ago and it didn’t show positive till almost a week late but I ended up miscarrying. I have a past of have a lot of miscarriages. My son is no way ready to wean and neither am I but we want another baby so bad.

Breastfeeding won't have any effect on the tests themselves but it can delay ovulation. It's normal not to have a regular cycle while breastfeeding and for up to a year afterwards.

I have now gotten pregnant twice while breastfeeding, neither time has it effected anything in my test. I actually got a positive at 2 weeks with my current inside baby. Though both times I had absolutely no idea when my last cycle was because it was before I got pregnant the first time 🙃
