If your kid was anything OTHER than gay and straight, would you accept them? Literally any other sexuality. This could mean anything from you having more than one son/daughter in law, to you having no biological grandchildren. There's lots of scenarios.

comment question: are you educated enough about the other sexualities currently known to understand what your child was talking about if they told you today?

I would only draw the line at necrophilia ia, zoophilia, and pedophilia. I don't think I could sit back and not say anything if my child had the desires to be sexually involved with dead bodies, animals, or young children as a grown adult.  Unconditional love is Unconditional so, I would love them regardless. However,  I would never bring myself to condone it in any way. So, for me.. Yes! There are some parts where I would have to draw the line on their sexuality.

I will always love and accept my child. I may not agree with it or understand it but I won't love them any less, nor would I put them down for it.

As long as my child doesn't bully another child/person I don't care about their sexuality/religion/views. They can have their own opinion as I will have mine. I'm not going to shove it down their throats like my parents. I'm giving them a choice in those kinds of things. If they're gay/lesbian, good for them! If they're straight, good for them! If they are Christian, good for them! If they're an atheist, good for them! They can make their own choices they are human too.

I would absolutely accept them. I may not know all the details of most sexualities, I believe that you are born that way. If they can't change it, then why should I do anything but love them? They are still my children.

I'm in a straight monogamous relationship but I'm pansexual so my children can be what ever they want and I will be A-OK with it.
