Movie credits! We each watched movie credits, looked at books and took note of every name we liked. Put them into a spreadsheet and used a formula to find the ones we both had down and picked from that list.

What interests do you and your partner share? For example, if you really love football, who are some famous football players that you both appreciate? We are big psych/education nerds so we looked at famous psychologists who’s philosophies we agree with.  Our babe’s name is Maslow - after Abraham Maslow. He created the “hierarchy of needs,” which really spoke to us both.

I used the social security website and looked at 2000+ names until finding the right one.

Read through a name book or app and take note of anything that catches your eye.
Once you're done revise the list, if you have a SO go through the remaining names with them and see what survives.

My son's name is Ramsay after Gordon Ramsay. My boyfriend and I are both huge fans and it honestly started out as a joke since we watch so many of his shows, but the name just stuck and I like it because it's not super common. 
Honestly while we were trying to pick a name we would both just look at these lengthy lists and pick out the ones we liked. We'd share the list with each other and pull names off of we both weren't 100% about. I would keep the list on my phone so if I was watching something or just out and about and heard a name I could add it quickly to the list before I forgot.

There's an app called Kinder where you and your partner can swipe on names and see if you match. I just keep a running list in my notes on my phone. 
One idea I've always had is buying a baby names book and going through it separately, one with a yellow highlighter and one with a blue highlighter. Then whichever ones end up being green, those are the ones that we both agreed on.

The app “BabyName” is really cool too. It’s like baby name tinder. You connect your account with your partner’s account. You both swipe and swipe and it alerts you both when you agree on a name. Super cool and you don’t feel pressured into your partner’s choice by their adorable excitement 😂

My coworker gifted me an older (11ish years) baby name book, we found our first baby’s in that.
For baby #2 I heard it somewhere, googled it and found it was from a super popular tv show
