Would you allow your 4 month old lick a lollypop?

Just a question for you moms and dads out there as Halloween is approaching would you allow your 4 month old with full supervision lick a lollipop?

Hard no. There is next year and forever after that to have a treat. I won’t even be starting solids until 6 months or so - definitely wouldn’t be candy first.

For us no. We didn't do any foods at all until 6 months and no sugar until the 1st bday cake. Everyone is different and I don't care what others do but for us no we wouldn't have .

I did and she’s fine. It’s not that serious lol I mean everyone is different. Everyone parents different. She’s not even gonna remember that she had a lollipop one time just don’t make it an everyday thing and you’ll be fine 😊 I usually don’t ask for opinions on things like this because you will get people saying no and honestly it’s your kid lol if you do decide to do it hey YOUR kid.

Nope. Of course you can keep the kid from choking or whatever, but why introduce sugar at such a young age? I feel like you’re just asking for your kid to refuse every food they try after that 😂

No. Like why? Zero benefits. Baby won’t remember. It is SOLELY for the parents gratification at that point.

I don't think your baby will die from one lick, but for me, it's a no. I get that it's fun to play with baby and give them neat new experiences, but there are LOTS of other ways to do it in a safe, healthy manner, so why go for the unhealthy/unsafe ways? 
Just an FYI... Sucking candies are not recommended for kids until 4 years old because they can be a choking hazard. With Halloween around the corner for those of us in the U.S., be careful what you give your older children, too!

Nope breastmilk and even formula are sweet enough for baby. I introduced my long after her first birthday
