Spotting early before period HELP!

So I am pretty sure I had implantation spotting a few days ago and it was the right time (a week or after O) nothing for two days and now dark brown CM and AF isn't due until Tuesday or Wednesday. Any ideas of what could be going on? My cycles are short 24-25 days.
