Does anyone have any tips on raising a biracial child in a highly racist society? I feel a lot of guilt for putting a child in this situation. I just ignored it when we were just a couple but I have a one year old now and very little opportunity to move at this time. It's so bad that family have been the worst. I also hear comments from staff at Nursery that are not that serious to be reported but possibly worse when I am not around plus certain discriminatory practices like leaving him out of activities which at this point may not matter too much. My partner doesn't really understand. It's down to me now to give him a positive experience.
