Moms with cats!

Someone thinks I bought HIM a crib and it's not gonna fly with me. Sure kitty you're cute, I'll give you that, but this won't continue. Mommas, what have you done to prevent this? Crib is in our room so closing the door isn't an option. I was thinking of going and making a soft type screen with elastic around it to pull over and cover the top but I wanted to know what other ideas or option are available.
