Spotting/light bleeding 6 weeks

For those who have experienced an early miscarriage.. how long after the bleeding started did you actually miscarry? I’m 6w5d and have been bleeding since Wednesday afternoon. Started as light spotting that turned into light bleeding with some bright red blood when I wipe. I haven’t had any cramping or enough blood to soak a pad.. just a little when I wipe and some “inked” into the toilet when I use the restroom.. I’m so confused on what’s going on. My midwife said it’s a wait and see kind of thing and to monitor the bleeding. I wanna remain hopeful but it’s hard and I just wanna know what’s going on with my body. Gonna ask for an ultrasound on Monday if this still persists.. please let me know what your experience was like if you don’t mind sharing 💕
