Pregnant. & Debating the vaccine

As

I have a 9 month old and I am 14 weeks pregnant.

I did not get the vaccine during my last pregnancy. Was just to scared of the unknown to get it.

But now I'm pregnant again, and I keep seeing mom's who were pregnant & got covid and they were not vacinated. And it was really really bad. And they are warning other preg mom's to get the shot. That if they knew then, what they know now, they too would of gotten it.

The one mom was on the news. After fighting for her life for I believe it was 95 days in the NICU, had to have a c section at 37 weeks, and immediately went to ICU. Doctors told her family and husband that they had little hope that she would survive. Well, she beat the odds thank God! But her message was so urgent, so emotionally fueled, it kinda made me see things from a different perspective.

I'm still anxious as hell. But I reached a point that I feel the benefits outweigh the risks.

( Have you actually seen what the odds are for preg. Women! 70x more likely they will end up in a hospital on a ventilator fighting for their life, covid is much worse much harder on pregnant mom's. And they are liable to catch it much easier.

So..... Please, if your a pregnant mama, or werr, AND got the vaccine, can you give me some insight on what to expect? Did you have side effects? What was your #1 reason for deciding to get it? (Esp if you were so unsure prior to getting pregnant

Also , if you're pregnant but opting out of the shot, can you tell me why?

I'm trying to get more than one viewpoint

Also, this is NOT a debate or open discussion to throw your opinions all over the place. It is solely what I already stated in my post---. ThatIf you're pregnant did you get the vaccine. Was there side effects? And what were your breaking point reasons behind your decision ;whether to get it or not get it.

If you've made it this far, you're a saint!! I know this was lengthy.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and advice!!!!
