38 wks and 2 days no contractions Normal ?

Question

So I’m 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant today and showing no signs of labor , still not dilated either , figure around this time the BH contractions would come more but haven’t had none should I be worried or it’s normal? I am so ready to meet my baby girl 😭 Doctors tomorrow tho so we shall see what’s the plans . Just been worried .

Agreed with the other ladies ! I’m on baby number 4. At my 36 & 37 week check up I was only 1 or about 1 CM dilated and cervix was beginning to soften. I see my OB tomorrow again for our last appointment since I’ll be 38+3 but have chosen a elective induction for this Friday ( 39 weeks exactly ) at midnight. Every pregnancy after my first I’ve had many contractions but I was early with one and over due by a week with the other. My first was a elective induction and gave birth after 16 hours total. Hoping my cervix is more favorable tomorrow and we don’t have a failed induction on Friday night.

Normal, every pregnancy is different. With my first I had no signs of laboring, no Braxton-Hicks, never dilated. I was induced due to medical reasons. This pregnancy I constantly have them and still not dilated….. 38 weeks tomorrow.

Yup currently 39 weeks and barely only dilated to a 1 and I turn 40 weeks tomorrow.
