It's not that I'm uncomfortable with it. I just only want my fiancé in there. If my own mother isn't going to be in there then im not going to have someone else's mom in there.

There's no way I would let any of my in laws in or even my mother.  Just my husband will be there with me.  I don't think I would feel comfortable with anyone else.

I adore both my inlaws but not enough to have them in the delivery room when my legs are spread, I'm in a world of pain and all dignity has gone out the window Lol

My first I had my  babies dad,mom, mil, aunt, an EMT needing birth training plus nurses and drs!!!

This time is me and my hubby, I want it to be a moment for he and I to welcome our newest little love!

At first I thought I wanted my DH, mom, and mil in the delivery room.  But plans changed and my mom won't even be in the country.  So I don't want my mil there if my can't be.  After going through birth classes and realizing all the diffferent positions I might need to be in both my DH and I agree that it's definitely going to be just us and medical professionals.  Now we just have to tell her.  I feel bad because I had first told her I did want her in there.

My mother and mother in law were there for my first and will most likely be there for this delivery too. I had actually forgotten they were in there because my husband and I were so focused on our baby. They took the best pictures during delivery! My mother in law has been there for all of her grandchildren. That was the first time my mother had experienced birth since her own and couldn't believe how amazing it could be. Ha! I love my mother in law and have a great deal of respect for her. I would welcome her support anytime!
