Lead up to labor or spontanious?

38 weeks and can’t wait to have this girl in my arms! I am booked for a c section at 39 weeks and 4 days, which seems like forever away!

I have had period like cramping and braxton hicks on and off for a while now and the last two days a constant flowing discharge (sorry tmi) . I know bub is down really low and I could go into labor before my booked date.

Question…. Did you have a lead up going into labor? Or did it just start up with no indication??
