Formula then breast milk?

Question

I decided to do combo feeding for my 5 week old bc I was mentally getting exhausted. My pediatrician is 100% on board.
Last night I gave my baby 2oz of formula when he woke up middle of the night (he usually doesn’t eat much at night) but he was still hungry so I nursed him until he was full.
The rest of the night he was so grunty and sounded uncomfortable, even though he was sleeping. Do you think mixing the milk with formula hurt his stomach? He has had formula before and been fine.

You should always offer the breast first if you want to keep any sort of supply 
It’s far more likely that formula would upset a baby than BM

My baby was SO loud at night while sleeping …grunting/ screeching . I did the same combo feeding and had no issues. She grew out of the loud sleep after a few weeks

could of been something you ate that transferred through breastmilk, or maybe it was active sleep throughout the night.
i think if you’re LO was that uncomfortable, he definitely would of let you know, in a very loud way. 😫
